  1. Reservation & Build Order Improvements

    We're improving the reservation process. This includes more, better and clearer messages as to why items can't be reserved by users and admins. It also includes better warnings and calls to action when an admin tries to check out (or Build Order) an item that may cause a conflict with an upcoming reservation.

    All items will be able to be marked with the same ID and a random copy of number of copies will be able to be added to the cart, etc.

    Add the ability to gropup multiple items in a kit. Allow splitting kits (lending items separately from the kit and marking the kit as "incomplete").

  5. Linked or sub accounts

    For family members, organization-wide accounts, etc. This should ideally allow a limit to the number of accounts of this type and to set up an account holder that can manage other sub-accoubts

  6. Time / hourly reservations

    This would allow setting shorter than one day reservation and loan periods and could be useful for reserving equipment.

  7. Coupons and discount codes

    Add the ability to generate coupons and discount codes. These should be for rental fees, membership, and consumables/sale of items when those features are implemented.

  8. Admin check out prompts

    Allow adding a prompt to admins when they check out certain items. This should be used during the Build Order process when prepping the item and when checking the item out.

  9. Email marketing integration

    Add a standard opt-in field and allow integration with common email marketing platforms.

  10. Limit items checked out by total value

    Rather than jsut limiting the number of items, limit the total value of items that can be chacked out at one time. Have an option to use the Replacement Cost, Historical Cost, or a new "Value" field that can be customized to be called "points" etc.

  11. Return time slots

    Some organizations need to also schedule returns either due to very large reservations or complexity of items coming back.

  12. Improved Overdue Reminders

    Overdue reminders should go out the first day the item is overdue, a few days later, then at most every week, likely on an increasing delay. More often will cause people to ignore or mark the mesasges as spam, but a few more earlier would help.

  13. Tracking and sale of consumables

    Organizations often have things they want to sell, not just lend, that are consumable (e.g. sandpaper, solution for science/STEM kits, etc.) or that are not expected back. myTurn should make this easy, including to accept unused items back. It should be easy to add items to stock and this will need to be integrated with the Physical Inventory check/stock take process.

  14. Sale of items

    Sometimes, people love an item so much and use it so often that they want to just purchase it. myTurn should make that easy!

  15. Item holds / waitlists

    While reservations are preferred for most items, for some items a waitlist or hold (get the item as soon as it is available) can be prefered and can lead to faster turnover of the item.
